Opportunity Cost: The Greener Grass...

My time back home went by so fast. With winter around the corner I'm once again turning my back towards Cape Town to chase the sun in the northern hemisphere. It's now been a year of constant travels to promote my art and while I know how fortunate I am to be given a chance in this crazy art industry I am also learning that every great opportunity comes with a sacrifice. Without having ever had a single economics class in my life I've come to understand the term 'opportunity cost': 'The loss of other alternatives when one alternative is chosen.' The road to success is often rocky and lonely. But I know that this journey was given to me as the biggest blessing and I am responsible to work the hardest I can, give it my all, learn from the lessons and make them into successes. Even if it sometimes seems like it, the grass is not greener on the other side. Just keep watering your own!
