If you've been following for a while, you know I LOVE painting in bed! đ
In the last 2 years, I've painted in 9 temporary homes on three continents and wherever I travel to, I usually make use of the furniture that's around to set up my painting space.
Painting the areas near the edges of a canvas, I love sitting in bed, cross-legged, set the canvas on my lap and paint with my hand resting on the canvas, almost like drawing on a table. I find that I even work faster this way, as my arm doesn't get tired as quickly as it does when I have to lift my hand up in the air all day long. It works really well for my slow painting style and no, I don't drip and splash paint in case you were wondering how I don't mess on the sheets.
