But Why Pink?
Psychologically, pink is the colour of compassion, love, sensitivity... the purity of white combined with the passion of red.
In advertising, pink is used to motivate action which is exactly what I aim to achieve.
The Pink Safari series calls for us as humans to understand the vulnerability of these animals, be compassionate and to protect them.
The colour pink also associates with femininity or girlishness. Looking back at my childhood, pink brings forward my memories of Barbie dolls, strawberry flavoured bubble gum and fairies. Pink is happy, bubbly and spreads positive energy which is how my friends and family would describe me as a person. Using pink is my way to show you Africa through my paintbrush.
